Are marriages on Mallorca recognised in Germany?
The legal situation has gone through many changes over the last few years. According to the current situation you can only have a civil marriage if you also live here. Single exception: Your marriage can be legally recognised under certain circumstances, if you are catholic and will be married by a catholic priest.
 
How much does a wedding on Mallorca cost?
As in Germany, a cost of a wedding on Mallorca depends on the number of guests, the location, catering, programme and many other factors. The infrastructure, the range of exclusive locations, high quality catering providers, accessories such as yachts or old-timers etc. all allow for the realisation of the most sophisticated luxury weddings. Can I expect the guests to pay travel costs?
If you plan your celebration and invite your guests well in advance then the trip to Mallorca does not cost more than a flight within Germany. There are sufficient flights and accommodation offers available in all price ranges if you book on time. Include a list of suitable connections and convenient hotels with your invitation and suggest your wedding as an excuse for a short holiday.
